Software engineering leader with 25+ years in IT. I lead the engineers who build web platforms, own the delivery process that gets releases out, and stay close enough to the data to prove the work moved the numbers.

I run teams without losing the thread of what they're shipping. That means owning the process and the delivery, but still being able to get into the platform, the content layer, or the data when it matters.
Web platform development
Building and maintaining platforms and internal tools with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS frameworks, with an eye on responsive design, accessibility, and long-term maintainability.
CMS & content migration
Moving content between platforms without losing structure, metadata, or integrity, plus the version control and repeatable process that keeps it clean afterward.
Analytics & business intelligence
Turning content and operational data into reporting people trust and act on. Power BI and Tableau dashboards that answer the question actually being asked.
Content strategy & SEO
Deciding what content exists on a platform, how it's structured, and how people find it: governance, on-page SEO, and content optimisation that holds up as the system grows.
Design & multimedia
Brand marks, campaign artwork, and presentation design in Illustrator and Photoshop, plus audio and video post-production. Visual work that supports the message rather than competing with it.
I'm a native of Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, a Star Wars fan and technology geek at heart who has spent two decades figuring out how systems, data, and people fit together.
I studied Computer Science in Puerto Rico and worked at several firms there before deciding, in 2006, to break new ground and move to Central Florida. Most of my early career was in development roles. Over time I shifted toward client services, running Computer Place Repairs as general manager from 2006 to 2011. That taught me as much about listening to customers as it did about fixing machines.
In 2013 I joined Florida Virtual School and eventually led the application analyst team, running web development and CMS management across content updates, UX improvements, and SEO. I collaborated across departments to migrate more than 900 courses into a web-based LMS and put them under version control, bringing structure to how content moves from draft to production.
In 2021 I moved to Arizona and joined K16 Solutions, first as Migration Services Manager and since 2022 as Senior Manager of Software Engineering. I lead engineers and LMS migration administrators building web platforms for higher education: content strategy, CMS migration, and the standards that keep those platforms usable at scale.
While finishing my Media Communications degree at Full Sail University, I had a change of heart about where I wanted to go next and pursued a Master's in Business Intelligence. My passion for coding and building applications had grown into a real interest in how the business side works: what gets measured, what gets decided, and why.
Outside of work I'm a husband and a parent of three. Spare time usually means going to the movies with my kids, or rewatching the Star Wars saga with them for reasons nobody in the house questions anymore.
